Gerontology is the scientific study of aging. This add-on course is a part of collaborative MoU between Marian College, Kuttikkanam, Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda, St.Thomas College, Thrissur, and Amala College of Nursing, Thrissur. This is a self-paced learning course to be completed in 6 weeks. The course instructors will give you specific instructions on each module. There are total 6 modules.

Spanning 30 hours, the course comprises 10 hours of theoretical study and 20 hours of practical application. Through this intensive program, students will delve into the intricacies of dermatological care and cosmetic procedures, gaining hands-on experience essential for their professional development in the field of nursing.

Adult health nursing focuses on the care of adults aged 18 and older, encompassing medical-surgical nursing principles, critical thinking, and the nursing process. It involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various medical and surgical disorders, including providing supportive and palliative care. Nurses in this field also focus on restoring health, facilitating coping, and promoting well-being through education.
